Katherine earned her B.A. in Business Psychology, Human Resources from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1987 and her Masters Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1995. She is also a member of the American Camp Association and Resume Writers Association of America and attends Executive Continuing Education at Case Western Reserve University in the areas of Emotional Intelligence.

Katherine has been a member of the Society of Human Resources Management since 1991 and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (S.P.H.R.) since 1996. She is also a Career Development Facilitator, Certified by DDI Development Dimensions International in 360 Feedback and a Certified Diversity Recruiter from AIRS, The Right Thing. She has attended numerous corporate human resources and training programs in the area of performance management, fair employment law, professional development, succession planning and career development.

Katherine lives in Strongsville, Ohio with her husband and two children and coaches youth soccer and basketball and is a member of the Positive Thinkers Network.
